I visited this facility

I visited and it was a really nice community. It was only less than a year old, so everything was modern and new. The rooms were bright and cheery. They have assisted living, but also offer memory care. They have a barbecue area where they cook stuff, but they didn't have too many activities or a swimming pool. The community is not really located in an area which is close to everything. Overall, I would recommend that place.

It was beautiful and brand new. However, they did not seem to have a lot of things going on simply because there were not that many residents yet. It's a lovely area but not what I'm looking for. The lady who gave us the tour was very nice and very accommodating. It was interesting to talk with her. She was going to school to learn more about assisted living. I thought that was wonderful and I was impressed.

Overall, this facility looks nice, we toured it. The staff was friendly. However, it did have a weird smell to it, as well as many of the rooms had portable air conditioners and humidifiers. When asked about it, the staff said it was still being fixed from the hurricane, overall we did not get a very homey feel. The elevator was out of service in the dining room, as well as some of the memory care residence were by the front desk when we arrived. Overall, this facility seemed to manage itself.
