This page assumes that you already understand most of the mechanics ofeach encounter. These can be found on the full raid guide, so what iscontained here are details specifically tailored toward Elemental Shamanand how you can deal with each fight as best as possible.

As a rule of thumb, if you can use those talents, use Healing Stream Totemand Earth Shield during movement when your only alternative is a regular Frost Shockor if you are out of range of the Boss for a bit (such as when dropping void zones in a corner).

Demonic Gateway, if available (and it almost always should be), helpssimplify many movement-heavy mechanics, so adjust your movement cooldown usagedepending on what your raid decides to use Demonic Gateway on (also true of Stampeding Roar).You should absolutely buy Gateway Control Shard in Valdrakken in order touse Gateways more reliably.

We also recommend being very aware of how boss abilities cycle and not usingdefensive cooldowns or Health consumables just because your Health drops low; itis likely that the "dangerous" ability just happened, and you should not takemuch damage for a while. Try to figure out in advance the situations where you wouldbenefit the most from them, as they are not necessarily best used as "panic buttons."Feel free to cast Healing Surge on yourself (or others) when in doubt.

Lightning and Fire builds are fairly close (until you get Shaman Elemental 10.2 Class Set 4pcbut are best at slightly different things. Fire has more mobility and morereliable priority target damage, Lightning will do (especially with T30 equipped)more single-target damage and has better AoE burst. Hybrids are possible if youwant to experiment.

• Very straightforward fight, but you will need to move more and more the longerthe fight lasts, so as the Boss gets below 40% health, try to use your movement cooldownssparingly, and always pay attention to the Boss's Energy so you can move immediatelyout of Hellbeam.
• If targeted by a Ray of Anguish, you can maintain full DPS by simplyusing Spiritwalker's Grace If you can deal with the Ray easily, you couldinstead, keep it for when the Boss starts a Hellbeam in your direction.
• Wind Rush Totem should work very well to help people targeted with Ray of Anguishreposition.
• MYTHIC ONLY: People targeted by Rays of Anguish need to be very carefuland move in a predetermined pattern to avoid a ray touching the puddles leftbehind by other rays.

• If you try to keep Flame Shock on both bosses in Phase 1, be very carefulabout the different DoT stacks you are getting, or you will get yelled at.
• Spiritwalker's Grace is best used on Coalescing Void if itspawns fairly close to you, although if it spawns right on you, it may be worth using Gust of Wind/ Spirit Walk or Ghost Wolf to minimize damage.Otherwise, Spiritwalker's Grace may be kept for Umbral Detonation, although you againmay want to use additional movement tools to move even farther away.
• Wind Rush Totem is probably best used on Coalescing Void and Fiery Meteor in Phase 1, and Gloom Conflagration in Phase 2.
• Try to keep defensive abilities and Health consumables for late into Phase 2when the Shadowflame Contamination stacks get high.
• Make sure to have cooldowns (probably only your Elemental) available for Phase 2,and that your raid uses Bloodlust/ Heroism for it as the firstphase is quite easy, and the second has a soft enrage.

• If necessary, holding onto Stormkeeper should help deal with Erratic Remnantadds easily. Either way, focus them.
• Wind Rush Totem is very handy to drop on the people getting their Unstable Essencemass dispelled, so they can quickly move out of the circle. It can also be used to helpdeal with Massive Slam. It is imperative for the entire raid to get out ofthe path of the last Boss's Deep Breath, so do not hesitate to drop iteven on one person.
• Gust of Wind should be available for every Massive Slam.
• You should probably use a defensive when targeted by Rending Charge.

• You should kill (and interrupt)Magma Mystics first, then Obsidian Guards,Flamebound Huntsmen and finally Zaqali Wallclimbers last. Thoseshould be AoE'd down with Stormkeeper and Echoes of Great Sunderingwhenever possible.
• Use a defensive on as many Molten Barriers as seem necessary.
• Spiritwalker's Grace is probably best used to grab Cave Rubbleand move to the edge of the platform to drop it on adds before they finish climbing.
• MYTHIC ONLY: There are many possible ways of dealing with the mythic-only Renewed Hatchlingsadds, and Elemental has some good options, notably Hex and Earthgrab Totem. Thunderstorm could also be handy, and simply using Earthbind Totem, Capacitor Totem and Frost Shock could be enough.

• Do not hesitate to use Gust of Wind and Ghost Wolf to repositionproperly for any of the three previously mentioned abilities. Failing any of theseis very bad.
• Wind Rush Totem is likely best used to help get people out of Shadowlava Blastor to assist someone who needs to drop Searing Slam far away. It could alsobe used to get people inside Doom Flames faster.
• Defensives are best used during Scorching Heatwave. Do not hesitateto use healing consumables and/or heal yourself if your Health is looking scaryduring that part of the fight.

• Use defensives when affected by Unstable Embers (especially in Mythic for Elimination Protocol).

• Try to have defensive for when the Boss gets really low, as you will be takinga lot of DoT damage. Use defensives during Igniting Roar.

• Wind Rush Totem can be used to reposition when switching areas or tohelp people reposition for Rushing Darkness. You can also use Spiritwalker's Gracefor that. Wind Rush Totem can also be used in Phase 3 to help people get inside Sunder Reality portals.
• Use defensives during Surrender to Corruption or at high stacks of Umbral Corruption,and possibly when targeted by Volcanic Heart.
• Prepare an Echoes of Great Sundering and Stormkeeper to blastthe Twisted Aberration adds who spawn from Sunder Reality portals.

• During Stage 2 and 3, make sure to use Wind Shear to kick Cosmic Volleyand Blasting Scream,cast by the Images of Sarkareth after Abyssal Breath occurs.
• Stormkeeper is only available for every other spawn of Null Glimmers,do not waste it. Try to have a Lightning Rod on the boss for every spawn.
